Who we are looking for
A technically minded Infrastructure Team Leader who will assist in driving the provision of a highly skilled, responsive and progressive team.

To support growth and increasing demand and complexity, we are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Team Leader to manage the Operations function within the Systems team. A pragmatic, flexible and hands off approach is required.

Reporting to the Systems Manager, you will be liaising with all leadership areas of the business and responsible for the tracking, reporting and measurement of team activity and maximising output. Proactively managing and operationally responsible for, the compliance, performance and availability of the global enterprise compute and storage platforms that underpin highly demanding bet365 product and services.

Within the Systems team, we provide full lifecycle management of a broad range of server, storage and virtualisation services. The Systems Operations function is a group of specialist engineers that manage high risk/impact/complex operational activity in tandem with providing subject matter skills for a wide range of projects and initiatives.
Preferred skills and experience
Proven track record of leading innovative technical teams.
Ability to multi task and manage multiple streams of activity, shifting focus regularly.
Leadership experience within mature, regulated, technology environments (ITIL, PCI-DSS, ISO27001).
Strong technical Infrastructure background.
Ability to hold yourself to account, to set high expectations of your work and to learn from mistakes in an open and transparent way.
Ability to work with autonomy but also collaborate well and progress work across multiple teams.
Team measurement, MI reporting and stakeholder management.
Degree level qualifications in a Technology related subject.
Experience working in a large scale, 24/7 enterprise where system uptime and stability is of paramount importance to the business.
