Who we are looking for

A Cloud Integration Engineer who will actively manage the support and development of both hybrid and cloud based solutions in support of our users.

You will contribute to the engineering and architecture disciplines by utilising your knowledge to plan and build new environments, making them operational.

You will work with other teams to proactively monitor system performance, addressing any issues before they become problems, and resolving issues when they occur. You will ensure service availability is maintained and improved, resulting in an enhanced user experience.

You will contribute to planning discussions on IT investments, ensuring solutions and systems are delivered in line with Information Security and Governance requirements.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working policy.

Preferred skills and experience

Experience working for a large enterprise business as a subject matter expert within a 3rd line Engineering function
Ability to outline, deliver and manage projects whilst adhering to our business standards.
Strong documentation skills, ability to work to deadlines and a pragmatic approach to the administration, governance and risk.
Experience designing, configuring and implementing hybrid solutions within an enterprise environment, including collecting, analysing and visualising metric data using tools such as Splunk and Sentinel.
Experience delivering, implementing, and supporting Microsoft365 and Azure products including gaining an understanding the lifecycle management and licensing model.
Proven skills in management and administration of Azure environments such as Azure, AAD, CAS, PIM and Subscriptions.
Experience in supporting Identity Service Provider (Okta) and application integrations.
Knowledge and experience of scripting, infrastructure as code and automation tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
ITIL v4 Foundation - IT Service Management Certification, degree level qualifications in a Technology related subject or relevant professional experience.
Knowledge and experience would be desirable in supporting Dynamics365, Power Platform and Dataverses environments.

Main Responsibilities

Maintaining a Cloud Service Catalogue detailing service definitions and the technology being utilised.
Managing all feature updates within Microsoft 365, ensuring each update is reviewed on a schedule, and forecasting changes on technology roadmap.
Dealing with all roles and responsibilities for each cloud adopted feature and document standards.
Being responsible for subscription and licence management, ensuring feature licences are assigned and tracked. This will also include advising about changes to subscription models and impacts on products and features.
Enforcing all security controls when enabling new cloud applications and features, which must be documented and maintained at all times.
Maintaining and enforcing the governance for each cloud application and feature in line with ISG standards.
Setting up cloud applications and features, technical designs, standards, and process documentation.
Ensuring each cloud application and services is protected and secured with our identity management service provider.
