Who we are looking for

A Network Team Leader, who will play a vital role in leading a professional team of Network Engineers whilst overseeing the Network Support function.

Our Network is extremely resilient to support the continued growth of the platform and consists of a wide range of technologies from many market leading vendors.

You will manage the support function alongside the management team, driving enthusiasm and success to meet the demands of our fast-paced, global environment.

Your ability to handle challenging tasks with efficiency and precision will be critical in maintaining the seamless operation of our cutting-edge technology infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects, collaborate with a dynamic team, and contribute to the success of our Company.

You will provide management support for our critical operation and have the knowledge and ability to make high pressured decisions, ensuring maximum availability and resiliency is provided to our websites and products.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy although on site cover is required for high profile, critical work.

Preferred skills and experience

Highly adaptable and flexible.
Proficient in multitasking and skilled at prioritising tasks, shifting focus as needed.
Self-motivation and driven.
Exceptional team player.
Strong communication skills.
Proficient in reviewing and creating supporting documentation, including process documents.
Proven experience in motivating, managing, coaching, and providing effective feedback to staff.
Experience in Incident and Change management.
Leadership experience, with knowledge of ITIL principles.
Problem management experience.
Familiarity within the Network Engineering domain.
Ability to switch priorities as required to support the growth of our platform, ensuring the successful support and delivery of new and existing products and services.

Main Responsibilities

Ensuring the support function has the appropriate training and is appropriately resourced to provide the best possible service.
Ensuring platform stability in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
Managing the workflows within Network Operations with a focus on the Network Support team’s workflow.
Providing assistance and understating in network compliance-related tasks.
Offering support and guidance to a diverse group of skilled engineers.
Collaborating with other business sectors, understanding current priorities and working with our Third Party Vendors.
Understanding and having the ability to represent technical changes and the impact on various business segments to efficiently oversee maintenance and changes.
Assisting with walk-in requests in a friendly and helpful manner.
Establishing attainable and quantifiable goals for each team member through personal development plans.Overseeing project-related assignments where deadlines need to be met.
