Who we are looking for
A Cleaner who will join our established night shift team at our offices based in Stoke-on-Trent.
Whilst previous experience cleaning offices would be advantageous, we will provide full training, including COSHH training. You will be required to work in teams, cleaning various areas within the building.
This is a manual role in a fast paced, busy office environment involving general cleaning duties including offices, breakout, toilet and workstation areas.
The night shift working week runs Monday to Sunday, which is followed by seven days off. A typical night shift will require you to work Monday 1800 - 0330 Tuesday-Sunday 1800 - 0300.
Preferred skills and experience
Experience using buffer machines and carpet cleaners.
Team working.
Ability to work using initiative.
Basic computer skills preferred however, this is not essential.
Ability to work to a high standard with excellent attention to detail.
Main Responsibilities
Cleaning office areas, toilets, breakout areas, emptying bins, hoovering and mopping to the standard required, cleaning touch points throughout, high and low level dusting.
Working within teams to complete tasks and tick sheets, which will be set by your supervisor.
Reporting any maintenance issues to your team leader or supervisor.
Using cleaning machinery such as buffers and carpet cleaners throughout the building.
Ensuring that all Manual Handling and COSHH regulations are adhered to at all times.
