Who we are looking for

A Software Developer who will work in a team of talented developers, following agile practices to develop high quality scalable solutions.

You will join our cross-functional team, working on a greenfield application using a modern cloud hosted technology stack.

You will be responsible for implementing features, maintaining clean coding practices, and identifying areas of technical improvement. Your technical expertise and passion for software development will be invaluable to the success of the team.

The day-to-day work is interesting, challenging and fast paced amidst a hardworking and delivery focused Company ethos. We hire people with a broad set of technical skills who are ready to tackle some of technology’s greatest challenges.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

Preferred skills and experience

Proven commercial server side development experience.
Strong technical skills in one or more of the following languages, Go, C#, Java, or Python.
Exceptional communication skills to effectively communicate technical matters to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency in working with Linux systems.
Experience working with GCP and GKE or other cloud hosting platforms.
Experience developing low latency, highly available, and scalable solutions.
Comfortable working in a high volume transactional environment.
Familiarity with Scrum or other Agile software development methodologies.

Main Responsibilities

Implementing features in a brand new greenfield application, following best practices and coding standards.
Maintaining clean coding practices and ensuring high quality code.
Identifying technical areas of improvement and suggesting solutions.
Collaborating with product owners and testers to understand requirements and provide technical guidance.
Contributing to solution proposals and providing work effort estimates.
