Who we are looking for

A Project Manager who will take ideas and navigate them through the requirement, design, build, test and implementation stages.

You will be responsible for planning, executing and delivering technological change to our Business platform. Projects will range from specific changes required due to updated regulations, through to entry into completely new regulated territories.

You will be working on the regulatory portfolio, which demands a high level of responsiveness and flexibility to changing external factors and challenges.

You will have an understanding of technology business functions and manage projects that engage with these teams directly, including software development, infrastructure, compliance, change management and information security. You will also engage with a variety of business support teams including operations, accounts, legal, tax and payments.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

Preferred skills and experience

Broad knowledge of project management terminology, tools and techniques.
Pragmatic delivery approach, with the ability to consider the most effective and efficient way to plan and release solutions.
Understanding and experience of a variety of test approaches, including functional and non-functional.
Ability to plan and balance priorities whilst working towards deadlines.
Experience managing simultaneous deliveries across a variety of technology platforms and software.
Excellent communication skills through usage of a range of styles, tools and techniques to ensure communicative clarity.
Experience working within a large IT function specialising in the delivery of complex projects.
Experience of Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Qualifications in recognised project management methods.

Main Responsibilities

Running projects from initiation through to delivery and closure within agreed timescales.
Taking full responsibility for ensuring all projects are resourced, planned and controlled correctly, using the tools necessary to manage scope, time, risk and quality.
Working with Business and IT stakeholders to define scope and solutions of projects, whilst resolving issues as necessary.
Ensuring relevant project stakeholders are engaged appropriately.
Working directly with appointed technical leads and project team members to provide support and direction as required, contributing towards overall project objectives.
Following delivery, providing lessons learned and activity based actions to improve the department’s delivery capabilities.
Managing changes in scope and priorities in an effective and controlled manner.
