Who we are looking for
A Sports Analysis Team Leader who will take the responsibility of leading the team while retaining a good understanding of systems and remaining close to the solutions being developed.

The Sports Analysis team is responsible for designing, creating and maintaining the mathematical models used by the trading tools.

The day to day work is interesting, challenging and fast paced amidst a hardworking an delivery focused company ethos. We hire people with a broad set of technical skills who are ready to tackle some of technology’s greatest challenges.
Preferred skills and experience
A degree in a mathematical or computer science based discipline.
Commercial experience in software development or mathematical modelling, in a senior, lead or management role.
Delivery and results focused with a committed, flexible,can do attitude towards work.
Self motivated and well organised with ability to multi task and manage multiple streams of activity, shifting focus regularly.
Excellent communicator in both technical and non technical areas.
Excellent understanding of probability and statistics.
Keen interest in a wide range of sports and the online gambling industry.
Experience with technologies such as VB.NET, C#, SQL, VB6, Excel, VBA and a solid understansing of Windows and Office applications.

Main Responsibilities
Leading a capable, reactive and delivery focused team and inputting into appraisals and performance feedback.
Gaining and maintaining a good understanding of the pricing algorithms and technical solutions that the team are responsible for.
Instilling quality as a default requirement throughout all aspects of the team and process.
Providing estimates and ensuring these can subsequently be delivered.
Planning, tracking and reporting on the progress of work.
Managing workloads and ensuring work flows through due process in a timely manner.
Understanding, identifying and mitigating any risks in delivery of work.
Acting as point of contact for other teams within the department and the business.
Assisting in the administration responsibilities of the team.
Mentoring members of the team, ensuring distribution of knowledge and being available to team members to assist with any issues they may have.
