Who we are looking for
A Network Manager to be responsible for delivering network change projects across a global network. You will be experienced in delivering multifaceted projects from initiation through to completion, mapping out the end-to-end processes and managing the delivery of high quality network solutions to agreed timescales.

We are looking for a professional, positive person with a flexible attitude and a desire to make a great contribution to the Business.

Preferred skills and experience
Excellent understanding of project and programme delivery with experience applying this in complex enterprise environments.
Demonstrable experience leading a team is essential.
People-focused with the ability to inspire and motivate.
Experience in matrix management of highly technical engineers, as well as management of 3rd party suppliers.
Good understanding of network technologies with experience planning and delivering the implementation of new technologies and solutions.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience managing multiple projects with the ability to work under pressure and deal with escalations and rapid business change.
Self-motivated with the ability to use initiative, have a solution finding approach and prioritise proactively.
Ability to identify and suggest improvements and provide input into the team roadmap.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership and decision-making skills.

Main Responsibilities
Creating, maintaining and executing delivery plans for internally delivered work including milestone plans, issues, risk, dependency and change management required for successful delivery.
Handling the project management of work streams being delivered through the network engineering team.
Owning change communication plans for the team’s activities.
Liaising regularly with project managers to ensure clear and defined scopes of work and accurate, achievable project milestones and tasks.
Governing and co-ordinating the delivery of 3rd party network services such as new circuit provision, service migrations and capacity uplifts.
Taking full ownership and responsibility for operational acceptance procedures associated with network projects.
Assisting in the development of a network roadmap in support of the platform strategy, product roadmap and risk reduction.
Producing WIP reports, resource plans and forecasts for regular review.
Reviewing existing methods and processes looking for opportunities to evolve and improve.
Working closely with the operational teams, looking for opportunities to improve process of transition of projects into support.
