Who we are looking for
An IT Knowledge Management Specialist to develop the knowledge management capability across the IT Service and support teams, ensuring continuous improvement and promotion.

You will aid in establishing an IT knowledge management capability while managing its continued use and promotion throughout the business. You will also be responsible for managing the current knowledge management practices while designing and implementing new knowledge articles and processes.

We are looking for an IT specialist who has previously fulfilled a similar role, or operated within an established knowledge management framework.

The day to day work is interesting, challenging and fast paced amidst a hardworking and delivery focused company ethos. We hire people with a broad set of technical skills who are ready to tackle some of technology’s greatest challenges.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.
Preferred skills and experience
Demonstrable experience in an IT knowledge management capability or SME in previous roles.
Experience of using and managing ITSM toolsets e.g. BMC.
Understanding of Service Management Methodologies and best practices.
Stakeholder management and ability to collaborate with people from different disciplines.
Self-motivation with ability to use initiative and prioritise proactively.
Outcome focused, delivering at pace and successfully.
Excellent planning and resource planning skills.
Experience with service quality development and management.
Demonstrable evidence of driving continuous improvement.
Ability to give and receive feedback while being open to ideas.

Main Responsibilities
Reviewing and defining knowledge management processes.
Creating, publishing and updating knowledge articles.
Utilising the knowledge base resources to design a training module for clients and colleagues to help them access the knowledge management tools.
Encouraging other team members to share knowledge effectively and efficiently.
Reporting on knowledge management activity and using the data to initiate continual improvement to the processes and practices.
Transforming the ideas of management and implementing appropriate solutions.
Acting as a mediator to answer the queries from clients and colleagues about the knowledge management products.
