Who we are looking for
A Senior Project Coordinator to take the lead on work items delivering in line with the department’s processes and delivery lifecycle.

Using previous delivery experience you will learn the essentials of complex technical project delivery. Deputising for Project Managers, this role will provide you with the opportunity to demonstrate and enhance the core competencies required to become an experienced member of the department.

Working in the Back Office portfolio, you will be working on a variety of projects related to the hundreds of tools and datafeeds used by the business to manage fixtures and prices across all sports on the website.
Preferred skills and experience
Desire and willingness to proactively learn essential competencies required to become a leader and delivery professional.
Experience in relevant technical areas which would support progression into this role.
Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate confidently, effectively and clearly to engage people and build strong relationships.
Self-starting and excellent attention to detail.
Self-motivated, proactive and possessing excellent organisational skills.
Flexible approach to work with a focus on delivery to deadlines and high standards.
Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects concurrently.
Ability to work both on your own and as part of a team with ability to lead a team.
Resilience is a key skill in project management and you will be able to articulate how you deal with pressure, setbacks and approach work with commitment, motivation and energy.

Main Responsibilities
Demonstrating and evolving your understanding of the use of different project management and software development methods.
Developing your knowledge and experience of our core Project Management principles by taking the lead on multiple small and medium sized projects.
Developing your understanding of the organisation's structure and processes to help you to successfully navigate projects through its challenges.
Defining and agreeing the delivery approach to be taken on the project with the delivery stakeholders and Project Portfolio Manager.
Working with technical leads to facilitate the building of the solution, have it documented and agreed.
Building, executing and managing efficient end to end delivery plans with multiple technical and operational teams in line with the Department’s processes and delivery lifecycle.
Monitoring, tracking and continually assessing progress against project phases, milestones and deliverables.
Understanding the technical nature of the role whilst continuing to improve and widen your knowledge of products, systems and technologies.
Learning first hand what activities must be completed to take a change live in different parts of the world through engagement with Regulatory and Compliance teams.
