Who we are looking for
A Business Systems Applications Engineer to provide technical support to the business in relation to our product portfolio of both internal and 3rd party applications.

Business Systems Solutions is an exciting new function set up to support the continual growth of the wider business. The team utilises various technologies to provide custom built solutions or implement 3rd party products and services to support processes within the business to drive effectiveness, efficiency, scalability and sustainability.

You will play a key role in supporting these tools and their users, performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting through to resolution. You will be responsible for implementing, integrating and maintaining our internal suite of applications which form part of our ERP, becoming an expert in your domain.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.
Preferred skills and experience
Excellent problem-solving skills in order to diagnose, evaluate and resolve complex problem situations.
Great communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience working collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors to provide best possible solutions and service to the business.
Experience of implementing, supporting and upgrading business related systems and applications while having an understanding of their architecture.
Ability to manage conflicting priorities, work independently, multitask and meet tight deadlines within a fast paced environment.
Strong stakeholder management with people from different disciplines.
Self-motivation; ability to use initiative and prioritise proactively.
Experience working with vendors, cloud-based technologies and SaaS solutions is desirable.

Main Responsibilities
Acting as the first point of contact for our internal teams with Business Systems related issues while assisting with the support, maintenance and deployment of these systems.
Being a subject matter expert for a given toolset, recommending features and functions to the internal team and business.
Managing, investigating and solving individual cases to ensure satisfactory outcomes for our customers.
Liaising with other departments to ensure timely resolution of cases and ensuring that our customers and stakeholders are kept informed of progress.
Managing third party suppliers to SLAs and forming excellent working relationships to leverage the best service.
Overseeing testing and deployment of software or application patches and upgrades to ensure compliance, security and support levels are maintained.
Taking responsibility for the platform on which the tools and applications are served including on premise, SaaS and cloud-based solutions.
Ensuring uptime and availability of all ERP solutions working across Technology teams and with relevant vendors.
