Who we are looking for
A Build and Release Engineer who will be supporting the implementation of DevOps into the business.

The Build and Release team is specialist in the delivery of in house code to the various systems and leading technologies that make up our website. The team is heavily involved in technical functions key to the running of our website. As a Build and Release Engineer you will be challenged daily and have many opportunities to expand on your skills in MS SQL, .NET, Python, PowerShell, shell etc.

You will be welcomed into a friendly and collaborative culture, where you will be working with a team of 30 talented professionals who are serious about your development. There will be some targeted study and related exercises to start with to give you a good understanding of the basics of our automation core languages, along with one to one sessions with experienced Engineers to introduce you to the more specialist areas of the role.
Preferred skills and experience
Commercial build and release experience.
Administering CI servers, i.e. Jenkins, CruiseControl, TeamCity, Bamboo.
Writing and extending build tools, i.e. Maven, Nant, Ant, Gradle.
Good knowledge of scripting languages, i.e. PowerShell, Groovy, Python, Perl, Shell.
Good knowledge of SCM systems, i.e.Subversion, Git, Mercurial, ClearCase, TFS.
Ability to adapt to a diverse and reactive working environment.
Ability to work with minimal requirements and manage multiple tasks.
Excellent communication on a technical level.
Self motivated and delivery focused.
