What is Software Testing

The main purpose of Software Testing is to test Software across a suite of products and applications including our responsive site and our iOS and Android Mobile Apps to ensure quality in the solution before releasing to customers, both internal and external.
In short - before our code goes "live" we test to make sure that it is working correctly.

The Academy

The Software Testing Academy is designed for aspiring and existing professionals seeking an opportunity to work in Software Testing at bet365.
The Academy provides the opportunity to learn tools and skills that will help to shape your future within Software Testing. Combining the technical aspects of working on our exciting projects with more practical hands-on learning.

The Software Testing Academy is open to everyone, whether you are a graduate, self-taught or looking to change career, the Academy could be the perfect place for you!

Our Teams

Sports

The Sports team are predominately UI focussed and are responsible for testing everything relating to our award winning sports offering; including exciting features such as Match Live on our In-Play Product, Streaming, Bet Builder and Cash Out.

Trader Tools

The Trader Tools team are predominately back office trader tools focused and are responsible for testing everything relating to our industry leading Pre and In-Play event offering. This team ensures that our bet management software delivers content quickly and correctly to our customers.

Members and Gaming

The Members and Gaming team are responsible for our extensive Members portfolio which covers areas of vital importance such as our comprehensive Responsible Gambling controls, Account Opening, all Payments in and out along with Site and Content related functionality and services to name but a few! All tested from both a back office and ‘front-end’ (UI) perspective.

Insights Call

You will first be invited to a group Insights call where you will learn more about bet365, Software Testing and the Software Testing Academy. If you like what you hear, you will complete an application based on the content of the call.

Assessment Day

If your application is successful, you will then be invited on an Assessment Day with members of our Software Testing Management and Training teams.
You will participate in a series of activities and exercises, as well as an interview.

Start of your bet365 career

Following the assessment day, if successful, you will then join the bet365 Software Testing Academy as a Junior Software Tester on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract and a period of training will commence.
Upon completion of training, you will then be given a permanent contract within Software Testing and the opportunity to continue to unlock your potential at a company where excellence is recognised and rewarded.
