Who we are looking for
An End User Technology Engineer to be responsible for the continual design, configuration and management of all desktop infrastructure technology on premise and in the cloud.

You will play a pivotal role ensuring all platform and services remain operational, managed, compliant and secure in a business that operates 365 days a year. As part of a highly skilled team of Engineers, you will manage all operating systems including Windows, Linux, and macOS, applications and patch management activities.

You will provide 3rd line maintenance and support to a global desktop infrastructure. You will also be responsible for keeping all desktop endpoints up to date and remediating any problems or vulnerabilities, while identifying and resolving any security risks.

We are looking for someone who is capable of leading and delivering project related work to a structured methodology, providing frequent updates on all activates. You will be responding to technical issues escalated to the team and ensuring restoration of service within expected timescales.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.
Preferred skills and experience
Extensive experience working within Technology.
Understanding of ITIL framework and best practice.
Strong analytical and documentation skills.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Linux, and macOS platforms.
Working knowledge of M365 applications.
Proficient in multiple scripting languages including Python, PowerShell and C++.
Experience managing and supporting endpoint tools and services such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Defender, Intune, Autopilot, Casper and BCM.
Experience managing hardware assets through a defended lifecycle, while recording and tracking all asset hardware.
Strong interpersonal skills and aptitude to interact with many different areas of the business.

Main Responsibilities
Taking responsibility for the technical design and configuration of all End User Technology platforms and services.
Reviewing new and current technology and presenting service improvements.
Managing and supporting all end user technology platforms including Deployment, Security, Device Management and Application Packaging.
Producing all technical documentation associated with each platform and service such as HLD, LLDs and TDGs.
Providing 3rd line escalation to support all incidents and problem tickets while managing BAU service requests into the team.
Recording configuration standards and processes, as well as creating training material and quick guides.
Creating reports, patch management and building images for distribution over a global network.
Maintaining and updating of all core builds, ensuring software is reviewed and updated.
Maintaining and updating of all software packages deployed across the desktop infrastructure.
Adhering to all published processes, procedures and working practices as outlined in standard operating procedures.
