Who we are looking for

A Digital Systems Delivery Manager, who will proactively develop and manage the digital roadmap for a specific Business area.

You will take the lead in developing partnerships for the Business, defining the appropriate support model and processes to deliver ongoing operational requirements. This includes translating key requirements into a clear digital roadmap, managing transactional day-to-day relationships and strategic demands.

You will draw together relevant teams to deliver the programme and ensure our vendor ecosystem is fully aligned with requirements. Working closely with these vendors, you will develop the existing internal capabilities to support applications whether hosted on-premises, or in the Cloud.

Being responsible for delivering a number of new digital initiatives such as digital architecture, you will be accountable for delivering against Business requirements identified, whilst working closely with internal stakeholders and key vendors.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

Preferred skills and experience

Extensive experience working in cross-functional teams, influencing senior level management and key stakeholders effectively across the Business, within a complex context.
Excellent stakeholder management, with the ability to collaborate with people from different disciplines.
Strong understanding of user needs in detail and finding quality effective solutions.
Professional, positive and flexible attitude, with the desire to make a great contribution to the Business, with a solution finding approach.
Self-motivated with the ability to use own initiative and prioritise effectively.
Digital and business application experience, both understanding and delivery of those services.
Knowledge on policy, procedures and confidentiality.
Excellent communication and management skills.
Understanding of key digital trends within the sports world.

Main Responsibilities

Managing the digital delivery roadmap, whilst focusing on assisting the Business to achieve its objectives, working in conjunction with the Head of IT Services and senior stakeholders.
Developing and implementing digital projects and the management of agreed budgets.
Identifying where digital security and data integrity requires engagement, liaising with relevant teams within the Business.
Measuring and reporting the on-going delivery of projects and digital services to the Business.
Managing third party vendors to deliver a high-quality service to the Company.
Collaborating with managers to identify requirements across the existing technical IT infrastructure for the digital platforms and taking appropriate input from different teams regarding best practice.
Planning and project management of the implementation of new technologies and solutions.
Managing the testing and release requirements as part of the project delivery process in conjunction with vendors.
Supporting and driving the team to uplift their skills.
Ensuring that vendors are an integrated component of our support and delivery plans.
