Who we are looking for
A Data Warehouse Team Leader you will be responsible for implementing the changes and improvements required within the ETL (extract, transform and load) and data warehouse products.

You will be delivering items from large scale changes linked to business transformative programmes, to minor improvements requested by a single user. You will also be liaising with other departments, ensuring high quality of work whilst always looking to improve the performance of the data warehouse to satisfy the ever changing demands of the business.

The day to day work is interesting, challenging and fast paced amidst a hardworking and delivery focused Company ethos. We hire people with a broad set of technical skills who are ready to tackle some of technology’s greatest challenges.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.
Preferred skills and experience
Commercial experience working in ETL/Data Warehouse platform.
Ability to lead a team of highly technical developers.
Line management experience of small to medium sized teams.
Relational set based processing through complex SQL queries.
Commercial experience of Ab Initio.
Committed and flexible with a positive attitude towards work.
Keen attention to detail.
Ability to work to deadlines.
Excellent communication skills.

Main Responsibilities
Acting as line manager for the Data Warehouse development team.
Managing, prioritising and monitoring of team work streams.
Owning the Ab Initio ETL product including development processes and standards.
Managing the Kognitio database platform.
Gaining an intimate and detailed knowledge of business processes and data structures.
Developing departmental standards and enforcing adherence to the development process.
Raising all necessary configuration and change requests required for regulatory compliance.
Creating and maintaining all relevant documentation.
