Who we are looking for

A Build and Release Coordinator to support the Sports team, progressing planned releases through route to live channels until fully deployed to our production environments.

Joining our sports team you will work on the Company’s flagship sports product, enhancing our product offering with innovative new features. This is an exciting time as we continue to grow based on the success of our product and new opportunities in emerging markets.

You will be closely interacting with other supporting technical teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery as well as being responsible for the patching schedule for our production server estate.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

Preferred skills and experience

Demonstrable experience using Git branching workflows.

Experience with Linux.

Strong knowledge of, or experience using, Jenkins and JIRA.

Experience of build automation, pipelines, Kubernetes and Linux containers is desirable.

Main Responsibilities

Managing codebase changes and automated build systems.

Owning the application and database release processes, including versioning and release tickets.

Orchestrating our weekly releases and communicating with multiple teams to ensure releases go out on time.

Optimising and automating the code cut process.

Working with multiple teams to roll out forensics systems across our datacentres.
