Who we are looking for

A Build and Release Coordinator for Core Systems, who will be working alongside some of the best developers in the industry and will receive exposure to cutting edge technologies.

The Core Systems team is vital to the continued success of the business, having responsibility for developing and supporting a number of critical systems. All systems and services within Core Systems are housed on a Linux operating system and primarily built around open source technologies.

The day to day work is interesting, challenging and fast paced amidst a hardworking and delivery focused company ethos. We hire people with a broad set of technical skills who are ready to tackle some of technology’s greatest challenges.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

Preferred skills and experience

Delivery and results focused.
Ability to manage and react quickly in a pressured environment.
Process orientated with good time management and scheduling skills.
Ability to manage multiple streams of activity, shifting focus regularly.
Ability to communicate both written and verbally in non-technical subjects to a business audience.
Passionate about the software development lifecycle and associated technology.
Understanding of code repository/source control management, preferably Git.
Understanding of SQL.

Main Responsibilities

Managing codebase changes and automated build systems.
Owning the application and database release processes, including versioning and release tickets.
Orchestrating our weekly releases and communicating with multiple teams to ensure releases go out on time.
Optimising and automating the code cut process.
Working with multiple teams to roll out forensics systems across our data centres.
