Who we are looking for
A Project Coordinator that will learn the essentials of project delivery and be supported to take the lead on work items, delivering them in line with the department’s processes and delivery lifecycle.

The Project and Programme team is responsible for planning, executing and delivering technological change to our platform by taking an idea and navigating it through requirement, design, build, test, and transition into IT operations.

You will be provided with opportunities to demonstrate and enhance the core competencies required to become an experienced member of the department. You will be given the guidance, support and training to allow you to grow and excel in this role.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.
Preferred skills and experience
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and provide direction confidently, effectively and clearly to engage people and build strong relationships.
Excellent attention to detail with ability to articulate how you deal with pressure and setbacks.
Proactive attitude with excellent organisational skills.
Flexible approach to work with a focus on delivery to deadlines and high standards.
Ability to work both on your own and as part of a team.
Capability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and prioritise as required.
Ability to contribute and recommend ideas and improvements to raise the profile of the department.
Good knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office; training will be provided if required in this area.
Committed, motivated and energetic approach to work.
Desire and willingness to proactively learn new skills and essential competencies required to become a leader and delivery professional.

Main Responsibilities
Building efficient end to end delivery plans with multiple technical teams, operational teams and third parties.
Supporting Project Managers by taking delivery ownership of a work stream within a project.
Defining and agreeing the delivery approach to be taken with the delivery stakeholders and Project Portfolio Manager.
Working with technical leads and management based in multiple locations to build work packages and book resource.
Monitoring and tracking progress against delivery phases, milestones and deliverables while reporting against the status on a regular basis.
Ensuring risks and issues are managed effectively from identification through to closure.
Establishing yourself as a core member of the team and building relationships with stakeholders in order to gain their confidence in your ability to deliver.
Gaining a technical understanding and appreciation of the platform and the underpinning technology to improve your technical delivery skills.
Ensuring that key assumptions and decisions are recorded and validated.
