Who we are looking for

An End User Technology Team Leader who will manage and coordinate a team of third line engineers to design, implement and manage on premise and cloud services.

Working within the End User Technology (EUT) team, your primary focus is to ensure all products and services associated with EUT are managed and maintained.

You will proactively drive the team forward to continually improve each product, platform, and service. You will create new standards to capture product service information, track licencing and review features changes.

In this role, you will ensure routine checks, upgrades and maintenance are completed, using the relevant monitoring and reporting, whilst also ensuring all downstream related products are managed from a client perspective.

We are looking for someone who will manage all work streams and understand each project, enabling you to schedule work and align team resource. You will provide weekly updates on progress made and highlight any changes that impact delivery.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

Preferred skills and experience

Excellent communication skills to interact with team members, stakeholders, and end users effectively.
Efficiently manage tasks, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines.
Demonstrable experience managing a technical team.
Proven leadership skills in driving forward products and technology.
Strong knowledge of various end user technologies, operating systems, hardware, and software.
Understanding of ITIL framework and best practice.
Ability to motivate and lead a team while being passionate about delivery.
Understanding of technology roadmaps and end of life dates.

Main Responsibilities

Reviewing new and current technology with the team and presenting service improvements.
Ensuring all team accountabilities are understood, managing tickets and escalating incidents where necessary.
Managing all changes to identify risk and operational impact, ensuring all change management processes are followed.
Overseeing and ensuring that all project work and small works are completed within a timely manner.
Maintaining an up to date resource plan, ensuring work is scheduled.
Managing all incidents, problems and changes in line with our ITIL framework ensuring all SLA’s and KPI’s are met.
Creating and maintaining new process documentation to support the team, while ensuring all documentation for service continuity, incident response plans and technical diagrams are kept up to date.
Reviewing and identifying technology areas to improve.
Driving forward training requirements and creating training plans, while mentoring and coaching team members in regular one to ones, ensuring agreed processes are understood and followed.
Carrying out regular vendor reviews with third parties.
