Who we are looking for
A Housekeeping Team leader, that will oversee and support the housekeeping team and the provision of serving beverages across the owned properties and monitor, assess and develop staff performance to support the Company’s operation in Manchester.
You will be responsible for working alongside and supporting the supervisors with the successful delivery of beverage services, ensuring that work is completed in a timely manner and to the required standard. All tasks will be monitored to ensure compliance with Health and Safety guidelines.
The successful applicant will be required to work 40 hours per week on a rota basis, working weekday, evenings and weekends.
Preferred skills and experience
Awareness of COSHH.
Experience in the performance and development of staff, including objective setting.
Excellent communication skills.
Efficient and effective team management skills.
Understand Health and Safety guidelines and expectations.
Competent IT skills.
Experienced preferred using commercial dishwashers and coffee machines but not essential.
Ability to work as part of a team or independently.
Main Responsibilities
Undertaking weekly stock checks.
Following agreed cleaning policies and procedures.
Communicating issues and concerns to line management.
Reviewing own teams work practices and environment.
Maintaining a flexible approach to work.
Storing and using chemicals in a safe manner.
Following all PPE guidelines.
Assisting with the recruitment of new team members.
