Who we are looking for

A Change and Configuration Team Leader, who will play a key role in ensuring change management processes are followed across the Business.

The Change and Configuration Management department is responsible for ensuring all risks and regulatory impacts have been assessed at the right level, before approving a change to the live environment.

You will lead a team of engineers who are passionate about delivering change within a complex environment, whilst ensuring tasks are carried out to the appropriate standard.

You will assess where improvements can be made to enhance the overall function. In addition, there will be opportunities to be involved in exciting technology and Business focused projects as the Company continues to evolve.

The day-to-day work is interesting, challenging and fast paced amidst a hardworking and delivery focused company ethos.

Preferred skills and experience

Excellent communication and personable skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent documentation and organisational skills.
Ability to work to deadlines.
Process oriented.
Pragmatic approach to the administration of governance.
Demonstrable leadership expertise including handling individual 1-2-1 reviews, employee’s holidays and attendance records.
Change and configuration management experience is desirable.
Remedy, Helix, Jira and ITIL background is desirable.
Commercial experience involving managing a team of technical and process driven people, operating in a regulatory controlled environment.

Main Responsibilities

Ensuring regulatory compliance is a key consideration in any changes planned and released to the live environment.
Creating and maintaining relevant documentation, whilst ensuring the team is up to date with their documentation and version control.
Engaging necessary stakeholders to ensure any risks are assessed appropriately and work effectively.
Ensuring traceability of changes against each and every configuration item is achieved.
Monitoring the performance of the engineers using KPI’s, whilst managing staff training and monitoring development needs.
Managing escalations and helping to resolve conflicts.
Establishing an understanding of the demands of the team and how best to manage these.
Organising the effective capture and maintenance of configuration items and their attributes.
Liaising with relevant parties concerning regulatory and compliance items.
